This has been restored in recent years and has been put in to production for roasting small batches of cocoa beans/nibs.
It has had light use since it was restored and connected.
The works that were carried out on it are as follows:
Complete strip down, removal of paint and left unpainted deliberately to allow future owners to paint it in their preferred colour - Black heat resistant paint is available if required.
Bespoke electrical control cabinet built and includes:
Fuji PID's for Beans, Environment and Exhaust, if required
Thermocouple installed for Bean Temperature
RS485 connected for profiling with bean temperature and Environment Temperature could easily be added if required.
Premium Frequency Drives for all motors.
E-Stop
Enable and Disable to prevent accidental injury on start-up.
Over-temperature burner latching reset relay
Natural Gas solenoid added
The roaster comes complete with Cyclone for chaff collection and includes a green bean lift fan for loading green beans into the charge hopper.

This has been roasting very successfully at a small coffee roastery in Essex for the last 35 years.
It has had two gas gauges fitted in the last 5 years to allow control over both burner rails.
It is fitted with a full modulating gas burner running on LPG Propane gas.
Gas Pressure: Min & Max - 50mbar
It requires a 3 Phase electrical connection:
380-400v - 50Hz, 28kW, 24,000 kcal/hr.
It has had some new cooling tray stirring arms parts fitted in the last 2 years, supplied by Probat.
It is also fitted with 2 x Temperature probes for Bean temperature and Exhaust temperature which have been used to run on Artisan roast profiling software.
It has a solid double walled drum and built-in Cyclone under the cooling tray.
It has been regularly serviced and is available immediately.
It is missing a sightglass on the front face plate and it could benefit from being repainted, but mechanically it is sound and has been producing some award winning coffee.
